His military service lasted 7 years including service in the field, military captivity, border guards.
After the military service he went to teach to Kenyérvár puszta. He placed the school to the relatively intact room of the Nádasy castle, where he formed his home. The feature of farm life was to teach, to educate not only the children, but also to help the inhabitants in his daily business and to farm. They were grateful and reverent.
In 1947 he was married. His wife’s parents were elderly, upon their request he asked for relocation to Aldebrő. In 1949 he began to work in Aldebrő. In the new workplace, he found good colleagues, ordered working conditions. He had the chance for continuing training: he continued his studies at Pedagogical College in Eger, where he finished with good grades and got a Hungarian-history teacher diploma. A son was born in 1951. He has always been interested in teaching.
In 1953 he asked for permission to work at MÁV, to the railwayman reformatory institute. At first he got admission to Kőszeg, later to Szeged. In Kőszeg they were satisfied with his work, and in Szeged he filled leading position.
In June 1956, he got the excellent worker of the ,,Oktatásügy”. However, in October the revolution started. They also had to found the ,,Munkástanács”, and he was appointed president. After the crush of the revolution he was charged with counter-revolutionary action, thus he got disciplinary. However they absolved him as after the outbreak of the revolution the Institution had been closed by him.
After these he didn’t want to stay there. He asked for replacement to the school of Aldebrő, not only because of the events in Szeged, but also for family reasons. In fact his wife didn’t want to move to Szeged, mainly due to her mother’s health conditions. So he began the 1957/58 school year in Aldebrő. Altough the memory of the ,,Munkástanács” was still alive for a long time. They took away his military officer’s rating. Altough he got it back later he didn’t get leading position again.
He tried his best at work in the school. Not only in the ground of school, but also in the field of educating the people. Beside working at the school he was entrusted with the leading of the communtity centre. The people’s educator work went on the basis of an annual work plan. He and his colleagues tried to compile a program, which interests also the public. The school of Workers officiated for years. In the Cultural Centre they hold lectures regularly. These were educational, agricultural, historical, and of course, included public health knowledge. They provided entertainment fascilities as well. For the lectures they invited well-trained experts. A local band was formed that time. They also organized plays, as those days TV was uncommon. They went to the theatre, too. They tried to do everything that was possible between their circumstances.
They didn’t neglect the school work. The evidences of it were the children who studied in high school. The teacher-parent relationship was good.

However he tought his students to take a look at their country at first. For his people’s educator work he got a ministerial praise.
